About Leapstrat Interactive

Twenty people whowould rather be rightthan be agreeable.

We started in 2020 with two engineers and one contract. Six years on we're still small on purpose — big enough to run a serious enterprise programme, small enough that the person who scoped your work is the one writing it.

  • 6

    years delivering, uninterrupted

  • 20+

    senior specialists, no bench juniors

  • 5

    practices, one delivery team

01 — How we got here

Six years, told honestly.

  1. 2020

    Two engineers and one contract

No office, no brand, no plan beyond doing the work properly. The first client stayed three years.

  2. 2021

We rebuilt the company around a timezone

Our first US client didn't want status reports, they wanted us in the standup. So we moved the whole delivery model to overlap their day.

  3. 2023

We stopped calling ourselves a dev shop

Too many projects were failing on the data, not the code. So we built a data practice and started every engagement there instead.

  4. 2024

AI moved from demos to production

We turned down more AI work than we took that year. The projects we kept came with evaluation sets and a cost-per-task number attached.

  5. 2026

    Same rule as day one

Twenty-plus specialists, a US-weighted client book, and the people who pitch are still the people who build.

02 — How we behave

Six things we won't trade away.

  • 01

Say the uncomfortable thing in week one

If the brief is wrong we'll tell you before the invoice, not after. It costs us work sometimes. It's still the rule.

  • 02

    Small teams, long tenures

Four good people who've worked together for years beat twelve strangers. Our average tenure is measured in years, not projects.

  • 03

If it isn't written down, it doesn't exist

Decisions, trade-offs, the reason we picked the boring option. Your future engineers will read it long after we're gone.

  • 04

Earn the next project, don't hold the keys

Every engagement ends with a handover you could hire against. Lock-in is a business model we've never wanted.

  • 05

    Boring technology, chosen on purpose

We take the dull, well-documented option unless there is a real reason not to. Novelty is a cost your team pays long after we leave.

  • 06

No account layer in the middle

You talk to the engineers doing the work. Nobody here translates your problem into a change request before it reaches them.

03 — Who you'd work with

The names on your project.

04 — Where we work

Global bench, your clock.

Engineering runs out of Kolkata, client work out of Tampa Bay, and our clients sit across the US, the UK, Canada and Europe. Most of the day runs on their clock, not ours. Wherever an engineer sits, their working hours overlap yours by design — not as a favour we grant on escalation.

Let's begin

Come and find out if we're actually a fit.

Thirty minutes with the people who'd do the work. We'll tell you honestly if someone else is a better call.
